Methane detector - CH4 natural gas

Methane or natural gas (CH4) is a colorless, odorless and lighter than air gas. It is extremely flammable (R12) and explosive. Use of a methane detector allows the detection and measurement of this gas to prevent possible danger. Methane (CH4) has no toxicity, but, at high concentrations, it can replace oxygen in poorly ventilated spaces.

Our selection of methane detectors includes models with catalytic bead sensors (the most commonly used, in particular in boiler rooms) such as the OLCT100 or the SensePoint XCD or with infrared sensors like the Optima Plus or the GD10, more expensive technology but offering real advantages (very long lifespan, poisons immunity, use in inert areas, etc.)
