The Dräger X-am EXPLO is an ATEX combustible gas detector, for the detection of explosive gases. It detects natural gas, butane, propane, hydrocarbons, solvents and alcohols.
An external sampling pump can be added to the combustible gas detector, which then constitutes the ideal solution for measurements to authorize the entry of tanks and wells or for the search for combustible gas leaks. Detailed description
The X-am EXPLO, a combustible gas detector for all situations
The Dräger X-am EXPLO has ATEX approval for zone 0 and therefore offers very high safety in areas subject to explosion hazards. The innovative Ex catalytic sensor impresses with its excellent poison resistance from silicone and hydrogen sulfide. Associated with a high drift stability, this allows the sensor to benefit from an exceptional over 4 years lifespan.
Light and ergonomic, the X-am EXPLO combustible gas detector is particularly ideal for industrial environments. The device is protected against water and dust in compliance with the IP 67 protection class, which allows it to preserve all of its functionality even after falling into water.It offers high comfort thanks to its low weight and ergonomic design. An integrated rubber protection and shock-resistant sensors provide reinforced safety.
An optional external pump with a hose up to 30 meters long is an ideal solution for remote sample measurements in tanks or pits or to detect leaks. The pump automatically starts upon combustible gas detector start-up. The switch from diffusion to pump operation can be handled quickly and easily without any tool.
