Silane Detectors – SiH4 gas

A silane detector is used to monitor this gas concentration in the air and to alert when it reaches a dangerous level. Silane - CAS 7803-62-5 - also known as silicon tetrahydride, is a colorless and highly flammable gas. Indeed it is able to auto-ignite in contact with air (starting at 21 ° C). In addition, SiH4 is a heavy gas that takes replaces breathable air in a given environment creating a suffocating atmosphere. There are SiH4 detectors in various fields that use this gas and in particular in the manufacturing of semiconductors and in the photovoltaic panels industry. Our selection of devices dedicated to silane gas detection offers different types of devices capable of adapting to all applications: fixed & single gas portable silane monitors, multi-gas area gas monitors and colorimetric gas detection tubes.
