Mouth swab drug test
The mouth swab drug test -or saliva drug test - monitors the consumption of prohibited substances. Many narcotic drugs such as opiates, amphetamines, methamphetamines, cocaine, benzodiazepines, synthetic drugs and cannabis are likely to be identified quickly and easily by this type of testing.
Mainly used by the police during roadside checks, swab drug tests are now being used in businesses to check the consumption of illicit substances.
How does a drug test kit works?
Drug test kits are most often used by law enforcement officers, the police, the military, etc, however more and more companies or public organizations use these tests to control if employees use illegal substances.
Mouth swab drug tests are particularly popular because they are easy to use while rapidly providing clear and reliable results. A single saliva screening test is enough to detect many substances like THC, cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, methamphetamine, amphetamines and marijuana.
A mouth swab is done via an oral fluid collector that doesn’t bring any discomfort. After a sample is collected, the swab collector is put in the test tray containing reactive products that are calibrated to detect the targeted drugs. The reactive products in contact with the sample will indicate the presence or absence of illegal substances. After a few minutes of processing, the test result will clearly be visible on the used test tray.
Our selection of drug test kits is composed by certified medical devices in the European Union. These devices are compliant with the 98/79/IEC directive; as such they are approved to be used by law enforcement professionals as well as medical professionals.
