The Spyglasss IR3-H2 is a triple-wavelength flame detector specially designed to detect non-hydrocarbon fires. It senses "invisible" hydrogen gas fires at long distances and offers the highest immunity to false alarms thanks to its triple-wavelength design.

It can also detect methane and methanol fires, ammonia, silane, arsine, phosphine, and fires emanating from new energy transition processes. It is available with the high-definition video option for making critical safety decisions remotely, in real-time, or for post-accident analysis. Detailed description


The Spyglass IR3-H2 is ATEX, FM, and SIL2 certified. It also offers first-rate performance regarding both response time and detection area. It is perfectly immune to false alarms, enabling it to operate in the harshest environments and climates.

Integrated high-definition video option for IR3-H2 optical flame detector

La caméra haute définition (HD) permet d'obtenir une image claire de l'incendie via un système vidéo pour observer l'incendie à distance, analyser la situation avec précision et mettre en place les mesures de sécurité appropriées. Une vidéo d'une minute avant et jusqu'à 3 minutes après un évènement est enregistrée par le détecteur pour l'analyse post-incendie des causes du sinistre.

La couleur est préférable pour les feux d'hydrocarbures comme le méthane pour donner une vue réaliste. Certains feux provenant de combustibles tels que l'hydrogène ou l'alcool peuvent être pratiquement invisibles à l'oeil humain et n'apparaissent pas bien sur la vidéo couleur. La vidéo proche infrarouge est la meilleure solution pour obtenir une visualisation claire de l'étendue des flammes avec des feux spécifiques.
