Multi gas detectors
Portable multi gas detectors can monitor from 1 up to 7 gases at the same time. These are compact devices with multiple functionalities like data recording (of gas concentrations), exposure limit value (ELV) and occupational exposure limit value (OEL) on the display, or real time trend curve display for example.
Based on needs and applications, the device will be able to monitor up to 7 gases with a large range of gas sensors: catalytic bead sensor for explosive gases, infrared for CO2 and certain flammable gases or electrochemical sensors for toxic and / or asphyxiating gases.

The versatile multi gas detector
Up to 7 gases simultaneous monitoring
Multi gas detectors have a large range of gas detection sensors offering lots of possibilities, many configurations and gases:
- Combustible, explosive gases (methane, GPL, hydrocarbons, solvents, alcohols).
- Volatile organic compounds and organic vapor (alkanes, amines, aldehydes, aromatic hydrocarbons, halogens).
- Toxic gas (Cl2, ClO2, CO, H2, H2S, HCl, HCN, NH3, NO, NO2, O3, PH3, SO2).
- Asphyxiant gas (Ar, CO2, He, N2).
The 4 gas monitor
It is the most commonly used multi gas detector in the industry (sanitation, public works, steel, confined space entry, etc.). It simultaneously detects explosive combustible gas (natural gas, LPG, hydrocarbons, alcohols and solvents), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), carbon monoxide (CO) and lack of oxygen (O2).
Multi gas detector maintenance and calibration
Whatever the type of gas sensors (catalytic, electrochemical, photoionization), it is extremely important to regularly control their proper operation by doing bump tests and recurrent calibrations (each 6 months).
With our certified maintenance center and our technical specialists, we offer control and calibration services in our facilities or onsite, in France or for selected international locations.
Docking stations linked to one or several gas cylinders are also able to do calibrations of multi gas detectors.
