Germane detector – GeH4 gas

A germane detector is used to monitor GeH4 gas concentrations and alert in case of danger. Germane gas, also known as germanium tetrahydride (CAS 7782-65-2) is a very toxic, flammable gas that can have dangerous health effects (irritation, choking, kidney failure, loss of consciousness and hepatic effects).

This gas is widely used in the manufacturing of semiconductors. Because GeH4 is a dangerous substance, its use and presence involves in most cases monitoring of its concentration rate in the air. Our selection of germane detectors offers fixed and portable gas detection devices with different characteristics and technologies (electrochemical sensors, sampling pumps, optical analysis system, etc.) to adapt to many applications.
