Bromine detector - Br2 gas

A bromine detector monitors concentrations of this gas in ambient air. Br2 gas is an element used in chemistry, in film development processes, and in pool water treatment. Bromine gas - CAS 7726-95-6 - is toxic, corrosive and dangerous for the environment. Exposure to this gas can lead to many one-off or chronic health effects (skin and airways irritation, nosebleeds, damage to the cardiovascular and digestive systems) depending on concentrations, and exposure time. The use of a bromine detector is therefore particularly important to ensure the safety of personnel exposed to these vapors. Our selection of Br2 detectors presents several technologies: fixed or portable electrochemical sensors detectors, photoionization monitors (VOC detection) and optical analysis devices.
