Disposable gas detectors
Disposable gas detectors are single gas detectors with limited lifespan (usually 2 or 3 years depending on the device). Once it is powered, it won't turn off and will be monitoring continuously without any battery charging. When the detector's life is over, the device turns off and can't be used anymore. To avoid any user surprise, the remainang lifespan of the disposable gas detector is displayed on the monitor.
Economical and very easy to use, disposable gas detectors are mainly found in O2 detection (lack of oxygen), CO detection (carbon monoxide), H2S detection (hydrogen sulfide) and recently for ammonia (NH3) , hydrogen (H2) and sulfur dioxide (SO2).

Frequent scope of applications
Disposable gas detectors are used in the oil & gas industry as a H2s -sulfur dioxide- monitor. These devices are also used by heating technicians or in the medical field for CO risk prevention - carbon monoxide - in universities, laboratories, and research centers. In this case zero maintenance gas detectors are used to avoid anoxia, oxygen depletion risks in presence of N2 Nitrogen tanks or cylinders.
Disposable gas monitors can also be a efficient and affordable solution for professionals during technical shutdowns on classified sites.
