J505 Mercury vapor analyzer

Unlike devices using gold-film sensors, the J505 requires no regeneration, eliminating the downtime associated with this step. This technology ensures reliable, reproducible measurements, while minimizing possible interference. The Jerome J505 features a continuous search mode, enabling sources of mercury contamination to be quickly located.

The Jerome J505 mercury vapor analyzer features an intuitive interface and color display, making it easy to use in the field. Its compact dimensions and light weight (3 kg) make it portable, while retaining the analytical capabilities of a laboratory instrument. What's more, the J505 can store up to 10,000 test results, with information on date, time and sampling locations, essential for efficient data management.

The J505's relatively low sampling rate of 1 L/min reduces sample dilution and improves detection efficiency. It offers three modes of operation: standard mode, fast mode and search mode, with response times ranging from 8 to 28 seconds, depending on the mode chosen.

The Jerome J505 mercury vapor analyzer runs on a rechargeable battery for around 10 hours, making it ideal for extended inspections. Its durable, resistant and ergonomic metal casing protects the device in harsh environments.

Applications:

  • Industrial hygiene
  • Workplace safety (regulatory compliance)
  • Extractive industries (mines and refineries)
  • Oil and gas extraction and processing
  • Electrical and electronics industry
  • Recycling and industrial waste management
  • Hospital waste treatment
