RAMFAN UB20 18 VDC

A mobile ventilation solution for demanding work environments

The RAMFAN UB20 18 VDC is a portable axial blower/exhauster designed for ventilation, fresh-air supply and stale-air extraction on jobsites, during maintenance operations and in confined spaces.

Powered by a Milwaukee M18 battery, it operates without a power cable or generator. It can therefore be deployed quickly in tanks, manholes, sewer networks, technical rooms and hard-to-reach areas.

Thanks to its integrated duct adapter, the unit can be used for both air supply and extraction with a 20 cm flexible duct.

Robust construction and materials

The RAMFAN UB20 18 VDC features a UV-resistant dual-wall polyethylene housing.

This robust construction is designed for demanding jobsite and maintenance conditions. The switch enclosure is also rated IP55 for protection against rain.

The unit includes several built-in safety protections:

• undervoltage protection;
• overcurrent limitation;
• reverse-polarity protection;
• thermal protection;
• motor-stall protection.

User comfort and ergonomics

With a weight of 8 kg, excluding the battery, and compact dimensions of 36 × 31 × 33 cm, the RAMFAN UB20 18 VDC is easy to transport and position.

Its cordless operation improves mobility between work areas and reduces the need for power cables on the ground.

The unit is controlled through a two-speed switch. The operator can select the ventilation level according to the application:

• Low mode, for continuous ventilation and extended battery runtime;
• High mode, for faster and more intensive air renewal.

Ventilation and air extraction

The blower can be used in two main configurations.

In blower mode, it supplies fresh air to a work area or confined space.

In exhauster mode, it removes stale air, fumes or dust to the outside.

When used with a Milwaukee M18 REDLITHIUM HD12.0 18 V, 12 Ah battery, the unit provides up to:

• 120 minutes of runtime in Low mode;
• 60 minutes of runtime in High mode.

The stated sound level is 68 dBA at 1 metre in Low mode and 74 dBA at 1 metre in High mode.

Face protection, goggles and visors
