PDM+ Portable H2O2 detector (hydrogen peroxide)

The WatchGas PDM+ portable H2O2 detector has two instantaneous alarms (low and high thresholds) and calculates STEL and TWA (Threshold Limit Value and Average Exposure Value). Two bright red LEDs provide quick notification of events. It is also equipped with a recorder of the last 30 events.

Compact, small (dimensions 85 x 48 x 22 mm) and very light (only 936 grams), the WatchGas PDM+ H2O2 portable detector is made of robust materials for use in hostile environments.

Fields of application of the hydrogen peroxide detector:

Hydrogen peroxide is best known in its liquid form, oxygenated water. In its gaseous or liquid state, this substance is colorless and odorless and therefore undetectable by humans. It is a corrosive substance, harmful by inhalation (R20) and ingestion (R22) and likely to cause severe burns (R35). It is mainly found in the following fields of activity:

• Paper mills and textile industry (as bleaching agent)
• Food industry (disinfection of packaging) 
• Pharmaceutical industry (disinfection of contact lenses)
• Chemical industry (creation of bactericidal products)
