OXY SR30 & SR60 Chemical oxygen self-rescuer
The OXY SR30 (30-minute autonomy) and OXY SR60 (60-minute autonomy) are self-rescuers powered by chemical oxygen. They are quick and easy to handle, even in extreme situations, and can be worn for up to 10 years without maintenance (but are subject to mandatory annual verification as category 3 PPE). A status indicator allows instant checking of the device's condition, without any tools.
These chemical oxygen emergency escape devices use a KO2 (potassium superoxide) cartridge, which reacts chemically with exhaled air in a bag (lung) to produce oxygen. They are ideal for use when there is insufficient oxygen, smoke or dangerous gases to reach the nearest safe area, or to escape successfully. Detailed description
Self-rescuer OXY SR great autonomy
The OXY SR30 and OXY SR60 self-rescuers are lightweight, compact and feature low breathing resistance. A neck strap ensures intuitive, easy adjustment, while a chest strap keeps the device close to the body for optimum mobility. Equipped with a comfortable mouthpiece, nose clip and eye protection, these devices offer enhanced comfort and safety.
Two models are available with 30-minute (OXY SR30) or 60-minute (OXY SR60) breathing air autonomy, and two service life options: 5 or 10 years. Thanks to their robustness, the devices can be used for up to 10 years.
An overpressure valve releases excess breathing air, reducing oxygen loss in the environment, and a status indicator, with built-in humidity gauge, makes it easy to check that the unit is working properly, avoiding the need for tedious leak tests. They are also antistatic!
