Air cart for supplied air respirator
The Modulair is a breathing air cart for air supplying respirators. Compact and easy to use, it has been designed to provide breathing air supply in difficult to access areas. Versatile and rugged, it is composed by a lightweight hose reel made of stainless steel and a cylinder holder that can be used separately. This cylinder holder is made to hold two cylinders and, if needed, a second holder can be fixed over in order to connect two additional cylinders.
In association with a high performance 300 bar pneumatic system which provides 1,000 liters of breathing air per minute, this unit enables up to four persons to work in the same time. Thanks to check valves installed on cylinders connectors, cylinders can be independently replaced without shutting down the unit.
In order to prevent the unit from any pressure drop in the air supply, Modulair can be equipped with an intermediate pressure whistle or a (automatic distress signal) with audiovisual warner that activates if pressure drops under 3.8-4.1 bar (55-60 psi).
